The Lola Nikolaou gallery will present from Thursday, October 3rd until Friday, October 25th, a selection of the series reproductions of works in small format by Giorgos Zongolopoulos from the Foundation of the same name.

The works include the Olympic Circles, the sculptural composition at the entrance to the TIF, the iconic Umbrellas on the beach of Thessaloniki, as well as other compositions with umbrellas, lenses and foils.

At the same time, the gallery will present the most recent painting compositions of the visual artist Alexia Xafopoulos, her section of works entitled The Great Wide Open, works on canvas, of various dimensions with mixed techniques.

ΓΚΑΛΕΡΙ ΛΟΛΑ ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΥ

Εγκαίνια Πέμπτη 3 Οκτωβρίου 2024, 18.00 – 21.30

Η γκαλερί Λόλα Νικολάου θα παρουσιάσει από την Πέμπτη 3 Οκτωβρίου έως και την Παρασκευή 25 Οκτωβρίου, μια επιλογή από τις σειραϊκές αναπαραγωγές έργων σε μικρό  format του Γιώργου Ζογγολόπουλου από το ομώνυμο Ίδρυμα.

Μεταξύ των έργων περιλαμβάνονται οι Ολυμπιακοί Κύκλοι, η γλυπτική σύνθεση στην είσοδο της ΔΕΘ,  οι εμβληματικές  Ομπρέλες στην παραλία της Θεσσαλονίκης, καθώς και άλλες συνθέσεις  με ομπρέλες, φακούς και ελάσματα.

Παράλληλα η γκαλερί θα παρουσιάσει τις  πλέον πρόσφατες ζωγραφικές συνθέσεις της εικαστικού Αλεξίας  Ξαφοπούλου, την ενότητα έργων της με τίτλο The Great Wide Open,  έργα σε καμβά, ποικίλων διαστάσεων με μεικτές τεχνικές. 

 [… αυτά τα ακανόνιστα περι-γράμματα και οι ασυμμετρίες όγκων και επιπέδων, σαν τα κομμάτια ενός  puzzle με την καθαρά δική του λογική συγκρότηση, θα μπορούσαν να αποτελέσουν προσωπικές διευκρινίσεις για την αντίληψη τοπίων και διαδρομών.
