Greek art’s life
From the globalization of the Hellenistic period, to the end of the great Byzantine Empire, Greek art has reached from France to India.
Having an open system based on two pillars, the Rhythm and the Legibility, it took several forms through the centuries in order to serve multiple nations, religions and societies, providing at the same time artistic freedom to individual artists as well.
When the Turkish occupation ended this 2000 years period of global Greek art’s life, Greek culture continued to inspire art movements such as neoclassicism and monumental architecture, not only in Western Europe, but in USA and other countries around the world.
This long tradition’s continuer is Fikos.
