[… the visionary compositions of Dimitris Tzamouranis as anti-point units of a self-subversive photorealism, deconstruct the representational experience and reconstruct the logic of painting in synchrony. So that ultimately the landscapes and the gazes are the morphic continuities of the escape points. A game between the visible and the invisible and the gap between them that is the place of the unconscious's outflow. So the question about painting is transformed into an ontological one. It is a version of existence in turmoil which culminates in a series of portraits in order to capture our gaze while at the same time the “glaring” details highlight another reality, reducing the realistic design to a living “metaphysical” experience…]

[… οι οραματικές συνθέσεις του Δημήτρη Τζαμουράνη ως αντιστικτικές ενότητες ενός αυτό-υπονομευτικού φωτορεαλισμού, αποδομούν την αναπαραστατική εμπειρία και αναδομούν την λογική της ζωγραφικής στη συγχρονία. Ώστε τελικά τα τοπία και τα βλέμματα να είναι οι μορφικές συνέχειες των σημείων διαφυγής (escape). Ένα παιχνίδι ανάμεσα στο ορατό και το αόρατο και του μεταξύ τους διάκενου που είναι ο τόπος εκβολής του ασυνειδήτου. Οπότε το ερώτημα περί ζωγραφικής μετασχηματίζεται σε οντολογικό. Είναι μια εκδοχή της ύπαρξης σε αναταραχή η οποία καταλήγει σε σειρά πορτραίτων προκειμένου να συλλάβουν το βλέμμα μας ενώ στον ίδιο χρόνο οι «κραυγαλέες» λεπτομέρειες αναδεικνύουν μια άλλη πραγματικότητα, ανάγοντας τον ρεαλιστικό σχεδιασμό σε ζώσα «μεταφυσική» εμπειρία…]
