The presentation of the poetry collection NITROGLYCERIN by Maklena Nika was successfully completed on Friday, October 17, 2025, 17:00 at the A49 Art Space, Anagnostara 49 in Kalamata.
A beautiful evening where emotions and searches unfolded through the "therapy" and "self-therapy" of the poetry collection.
An initiative of the digital magazine Culture of Balkans within the framework of the action "Poetic Pathways".
The Culture of Balkans magazine thanks all the speakers for their statements - Mr. George Andriomenos, Mrs. Maria Tsimikli and Georgia Angelopoulos, as well as all those present and of course the poet Mrs. Maklena Nika herself for her presence.

Biographical information:
Maklena Nika worked as a lecturer in Modern Greek Literature at the University of Tirana, Department of Greek Language.
Her doctoral studies focused on the comparative study of French and Greek surrealism.
Since 2009, she has served as President of the Association of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis in Albania.
In 2022, she was honored by the Ministry of Culture and the Hellenic Foundation for Culture for her dedication to the promotion of Greek culture in Albania.
She has translated important works of Greek, French and English literature into Albanian.
He is the author of two other poetic works: "I, You, Us" (Marin Barleti Publications, 2002), Bilingual edition Albanian-French, "Oxymoro" (Toena Publications, 2020) - Nominee for the National Poetry Award, "Nitroglycerin" (Toena Publications, 2023) - Nominee for the National Poetry Award).
Ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία η παρουσίαση της ποιητικής συλλογής ΝΙΤΡΟΓΛΥΚΕΡΙΝΗ της Μακλένας Νίκα την Παρασκευή 17 Οκτωβρίου 2025, 17:00 στον Χώρο Τέχνης Α49, Αναγνωσταρά 49 στην Καλαμάτα.
Μία όμορφη βραδιά όπου ξετυλίχτηκαν συναισθήματα και αναζητήσεις μέσω της "θεραπείας" και "αυτοθεραπείας" της ποιητικής συλλογής.
Μία πρωτοβουλία του ηλεκτρονικού περιοδικού Culture of Balkans στο πλαίσιο της δράσης "Ποιητικοί δρόμοι".
Το περιοδικό Culture of Balkans ευχαριστεί όλους τους ομιλητές για τις τοποθετήσεις τους - τον κύριο Γιώργο Ανδρειωμένο, τις κυρίες Μαρία Τσιμικλή και Γεωργία Αγγελόπουλου, καθώς και όλες και όλους τους παραβρισκόμενους και φυσικά την ίδια την ποιήτρια κυρία Μακλένα Νίκα για την παρουσία της.

Βιογραφικά στοιχεία:
Η Μακλένα Νίκα εργάστηκε ως λέκτορας της Νεοελληνικής Λογοτεχνίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Τιράνων, Τμήμα Ελληνικής Γλώσσας.
Οι διδακτορικές της σπουδές επικεντρώθηκαν στη συγκριτική μελέτη του γαλλικού και ελληνικού σουρεαλισμού.
Από το 2009 διατελεί Πρόεδρος του Συλλόγου Φίλων Νίκου Καζαντζάκη στην Αλβανία.
Το 2022 τιμήθηκε από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού και το Ελληνικό Ίδρυμα Πολιτισμού για την αφοσίωσή της στην προώθηση του ελληνικού πολιτισμού στην Αλβανία.
Έχει μεταφράσει στα αλβανικά σημαντικά έργα της ελληνικής, γαλλικής και αγγλικής λογοτεχνίας.
Είναι συγγραφέας δύο άλλων ποιητικών έργων: «Εγώ, εσύ, εμείς» (Εκδόσεις Marin Barleti, 2002), Δίγλωσση έκδοση Αλβανικά-Γαλλικά, «Οξύμωρο» (Εκδόσεις Toena, 2020) - Υποψήφιο για το Εθνικό Βραβείο Ποίησης, «Νιτρογλυκερίνη» (Εκδόσεις Toena, 2023) - Υποψήφιο για το Εθνικό Βραβείο Ποίησης).
