Krasimir Neychev - artist from Bulgaria. Born 1955.
He lives and works in Plovdiv.
He graduated from the National High School of Arts, Dechko Uzunov in the town of Kazanlak in 1975.
Works in the iconostasis of the iconography and the carving inspired the Bulgarian iconographic and carving schools from the Bulgarian Renaissance period and the technologies in their work: a tempera egg emulsion in the painting of the images in the canonical traditions of the Orthodox Church in the so-called ermini: Color range and painting of the images.
Characteristic of its wealth is that it combines everything in one single icon: a thread with plant motifs in the very form of a separate icon, gilding and metal hardware, painting the image combined into a whole.
He also draws icons related to the Bulgarian essay. Example: An icon with the image of Tsar Boris I, who converted the Bulgarian people to Christian Eastern Orthodox Faith, later adopted the monk named Boris Mihail. Another characteristic of the author is that he also produces horses from the life of Jesus Christ: The Baptism of Christ in the Jordan is characteristic of the church fresco. Works on which he transfers and produces in the small format of the icon and thus makes it accessible to any home.
