“Poetic Pathways”: A large-scale cultural action in Kalamata

The innovative cultural initiative “Poetic Pathways”, organized by the non-profit organization KALLIERGON syn in Kalamata, starts on October 11 and will last until November 15, 2025. The action is under the auspices and support of the Ministry of Culture, the auspices of the Municipality of Kalamata, in collaboration with the Chamber of Messinia and local organizations.

Inspired by Vasiliki Kateri, the action “Poetic Pathways” is a creative fermention in which everyone can participate. Its long duration and its different approach make it a lively, easily accessible participatory experience, which transforms poetry into a means of communication, entertainment and free expression. Its goal is to promote poetry and reading in conjunction with the exploration of public space. Art & Entrepreneurship will travel together along paths of cooperation and mutual offering, stimulating the fabric of the city of Kalamata at every level.

Through poetry, the opportunity is given to every interested party to “build” on a collective, constantly evolving field. Poetry — from its established form to the improvised lyrics of RAP (Rhythm And Poetry) — will artfully penetrate the everyday life of citizens and will be addressed to everyone, initiated and not.

The end of the action will include an honorary tribute to the important Messinian poet, George Markopoulos.

The vision of the organizers is for the action to operate within the framework of a network of cities inside and outside Greece, as a bridge of cultures, promoting Greek literature at an international level.

The participation of everyone is a valuable part of this creative journey. The organizing team of KALLIERGON syn extends an open invitation to organizations, educational organizations, businesses, artists, expatriates, philhellenes and all those who wish to join forces with them, either through participation in events, or with their support and contribution in other forms, for an unforgettable journey.

 «Ποιητικοί Δρόμοι»: Μια μεγάλης κλίμακας πολιτιστική δράση στην Καλαμάτα

Η καινοτόμα πολιτιστική πρωτοβουλία «Ποιητικοί Δρόμοι», που οργανώνει ο μη κερδοσκοπικός φορέας KALLIERGON syn στην Καλαμάτα, ξεκινά στις 11 Οκτωβρίου και θα διαρκέσει έως τις 15 Νοεμβρίου 2025. Η δράση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα και την υποστήριξη του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού, την αιγίδα του Δήμου Καλαμάτας, σε συνεργασία με το Επιμελητήριο Μεσσηνίας και τοπικούς φορείς.

Εμπνευσμένη από τη Βασιλική Κατέρη, η δράση «Ποιητικοί Δρόμοι» αποτελεί μια δημιουργική ζύμωση στην οποία μπορούν όλοι να συμμετέχουν. Η μεγάλη της διάρκεια και η διαφορετική της προσέγγιση την καθιστούν μια ζωντανή, εύκολα προσβάσιμη συμμετοχική εμπειρία, που μετατρέπει την ποίηση σε μέσο επικοινωνίας, ψυχαγωγίας και ελεύθερης έκφρασης. Στόχος της, η προώθηση της ποίησης και της φιλαναγνωσίας σε συνάρτηση με την εξερεύνηση του δημόσιου χώρου. Τέχνη & Επιχειρηματικότητα θα διανύουν μαζί δρόμους συνεργασίας και αλληλοπροσφοράς, δίνοντας τόνωση στον ιστό της πόλης της Καλαμάτας σε κάθε επίπεδο.

Μέσω της ποίησης, δίνεται η ευκαιρία σε κάθε ενδιαφερόμενο να «χτίσει» πάνω σε ένα συλλογικό, συνεχώς εξελισσόμενο πεδίο. Η ποίηση — από την καθιερωμένη της μορφή μέχρι την αυτοσχέδια στιχουργική της RAP (Rhythm And Poetry) — θα διεισδύει έντεχνα στην καθημερινότητα των πολιτών και θα απευθύνεται σε όλους, μυημένους και μη.

Η λήξη της δράσης θα περιλαμβάνει ένα τιμητικό αφιέρωμα στον σημαντικό Μεσσήνιο ποιητή, Γιώργο Μαρκόπουλο.

Όραμα των διοργανωτών είναι να λειτουργήσει η δράση στο πλαίσιο ενός δικτύου πόλεων εντός και εκτός Ελλάδας, ως γέφυρα πολιτισμών, προβάλλοντας την ελληνική λογοτεχνία σε διεθνές επίπεδο.

Η συμμετοχή όλων αποτελεί πολύτιμο κομμάτι αυτής της δημιουργικής διαδρομής. Η διοργανώτρια Ομάδα της KALLIERGON syn απευθύνει ανοιχτή πρόσκληση σε φορείς, εκπαιδευτικούς οργανισμούς, επιχειρήσεις, καλλιτέχνες, ομογενείς, φιλέλληνες και όλους όσοι επιθυμούν να ενώσουνε τις δυνάμεις τους μαζί τους, είτε μέσω συμμετοχής σε εκδηλώσεις, είτε με την υποστήριξη και τη συνεισφορά τους σε άλλες μορφές, για μια αξέχαστη διαδρομή.
